Chef Tony Boy Escalante wanted his new restaurant to feel like Sunday lunch in your lola’s house—warm, familiar, and lots of garlic rice. Balay Dako in Tagaytay is the newest addition to the Antonio’s Group of Restaurants which boasts of classic Filipino food the entire family can enjoy.

For the identity, we drew inspiration from Balay Dako itself, designing the type and logo after the wooden frames and wrought iron gates. The goal was to make the identity look perfectly at home in the big house.
